Sprout Kids — Glossy Postcard
was inspired by the time I spent working at Sprout U School of the Arts. I created this painting during Family Art Making Day at the park, surrounded by families and children who watched the piece come to life from beginning to end. Their innocent laughter inspired the bright, colorful center of the work. The painting was also inspired by the small, beautiful details that make every child unique, bobo’s, barrettes, twists, low cuts, dimples, missing teeth, and joyful smiles.
